A day of Family Fun

We drove to the Cleveland Museum of Arts in the morning. There’s a special showing of Pharaoh: King of Ancient Egypt. However, we didn’t pay to see it because we figured all the free exhibitions would’ve taken a long time anyways.

There were three levels. Most of the exhibitions were on first and second levels, and the basement level was mainly for educational purpose with classrooms and a teacher resource center.

We started from the first level, then moved on to the second level. There were so many exhibitions. The Pyramids and Sphinxes, the Masterworks of Chinese Paintings and sculptures, Roman arts, African arts, Mayan arts, the Middle East arts, Greek arts, Impressionist paintings, Contemporary arts, Indian arts and sculptures, French arts, etc. You name it, they got it.

There’s a nice terrace at the second level South Entrance where we got out of the building.

We spent 3+ hours of fun and educational time there for free. We had to pay the $9 for parking though.

Then we drove to another town for lunch. The Japanese/Chinese buffet was good. There were many people eating there.

After our stomachs were satisfied, we drove home and enjoyed the Martian while Adventurer Jr. III was taking a nap due to some languages in the movie. The DVD didn’t cost us anything.

Since we ate so much for lunch, we weren’t even hungry for dinner. That $50 spent at the restaurant covered two meals. How nice was that! So we watched some educational shows via Amazon Prime, which we got one month of free access.
