Upon awaking, my children greeted and wished me happy mother’s day. And they gave me presents that they made themselves. And hugs and kisses. What a great way to start out the day! 🙂 … Continue reading >>
The gentleman told me that he was on his way home from the trip he took to Israel and Jordan. He said that his church organized a two-week fifty-people-trip every year to Israel. I thought he meant synagogue because he looked Jewish. He said that Israel is a small place, the landscape changed so abruptly from barren to green, and it’s pretty narrow. Jewish tour guides took them to places of interests. Then they went to Jordan. And Muslim tour … Continue reading >>
Today Adventurer Jr. participated a solo and ensemble contest. We found at the spot that if you wanted a detailed program, you had to pay $1 for it. So we went without it. No video and photography were allowed. Seriously? If you placed, you had to buy the medal. What? The contest wasn’t free and all contestants had paid in advance for the events. And you couldn’t use part of the money to buy the medals for good performers? That’s … Continue reading >>

Last night I was in the Steam room. There’s another person in there. She coughed and spat the secretion on the tile floor. Oh, my! Need I say more? I left there immediately. That’s not the end of it. Adventurer Jr. II told me that in men’s Steam room, there’s human waste that starts with “s”, and he told the person who worked there and no one did anything to clean it up. I heard horrible things about gym, but … Continue reading >>
Adventurer Jr. performed clarinet in the concert tonight. The band is getting better every time. He’ll stop playing in the band when he is a sophomore in high school. I saw a hospice is looking for volunteers. It’s always on my mind to do some volunteering work, especially providing comforts to those who are at the final stage of their lives. However, the timing isn’t right for me right now. Hopefully, in three or four years, I’ll be able to do this.
I have no idea that I have been eating a dangerous plastic chemical called azodicarbonamide, a substance for yoga mats, while eating out at some places. Food Babe revealed this on its website. I’m feeling nauseous thinking about eating my yoga mat. 🙁 I purport healthy eating and homemade food. But I did eat occasionally at the places that were mentioned on its website. The bigger issue here is that it’s legal to add azodicarbonamide in our food in the … Continue reading >>
Tonight I attended Adventurer Jr.’s Jazz Band concert. There were about 50 students in the band. That’s the most I have ever seen so far. They did a great job. Adventurer Jr. has played clarinet for more than three years. It’s nice to see how much he has grown. On the other hand, I’m not proficient in any musical instruments. I’m thinking of learning one in the distant future.
