Cultural Encounters

Today, we went to the Museo Maya de Cancún first. Tourists were asked to put their stuff into the lockers. The upper level had artifact displays. There were also Mayan ruins on the ground level. Then, we rode the bus to Mercado 28. There were many shops. We bought 6 postcards for $38 pesos, three T-Shirts for $220 pesos (asking price $240 pesos) for the kids, and a silver bracelet for me for $220 pesos (asking price was $450 pesos). Cancún, Mexico Trip Prep

We are planning on going to Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico sometime in the year of 2015 for 7 days. The peak tourist season is from December to April. Spring break seems to be the worst time there due to Spring Breakers descend on the Yucatán’s shores. Summer break is probably not good because sweltering weather there.
